This year we are seeking out solo musicians (emerging and semi-professional musicians) to perform at the Shoreline Arts Festival. There is stage on the grassy area at Animal Acres Park. There will be no sound reinforcement.

This is for a 45 minute performance. Each performance will start on the hour, with a 15 minute breakdown/setup time. 

​

Open to any style and genre and instrumentation. Live electronics are not available.

We will adhere to current Washington State COVID19 Performing Arts Theater Sector Guidance. More info found here.

Eligibility

This is a juried performing arts program. You must be a solo performer to qualify.​

 

Jurying

The jury panel includes working musicians and festival directors, who determine the balance of genres and select the performers. Jury decisions are confidential.

Advertising

The festival is advertised through local media, signage, and mailings to Shoreline and Lake Forest Park area residents. Participating artists are featured in the festival guide and on the festival website.

COVID-19 Notes

We understand that musicians have been extremely affected by cancelled events and limited avenues to perform. We aim to have a safe, modified, in person event in 2021. 

But if we've learned anything in the last year it's that COVID-19 can change even the best of plans. To help mitigate disruptions we've pushed back our application window this year as well as the deadline to register for the event, giving musicians as much time as possible to read the landscape and make an informed decision before applying/accepting.
