Hi, I’m Julia, owner and artist/maker behind Rather Puckish, so nice to meet you! An accidental illustrator, I combine drawing with my love of storytelling to create a little puckish world full of opinionated tutu-wearing, sword-brandishing girls, colorful mermaids, and book-loving, think-outside-the-box characters of all sorts.

I make whimsical art about being yourself in all your marvelous, brilliant, difficult, contradictory ways. I believe everyone should see themselves represented in art and I strive for inclusivity in my work so that there's a bit of puckishness that makes everyone feel seen.

My drawings are playful, colorful, quirky, and designed to make you smile and make you think. I make art that brings joy, creativity, inspiration, and thoughtfulness to any space.
With my illustrations I make all sorts of products including art prints, handmade greeting cards, vinyl stickers, enamel pins, bookmarks, temporary tattoos and more.
